Wireguard VPN has a better forwarding performance than OpenVPN, as it works on L3, and for compatibility, it is much more better than IPsec or L2TP over IPsec(which experience many issues with Windows)

Reyee EG router in R340 has introduced wireguard, below is the configuration step, currectly it recommended to configure it through eweb:

1. Go to the device eweb, click on VPN>Wireguard VPN> Wireguard VPN server> Add

2. Configure the server parameters of the VPN click Add for adding some Wireguard clients

3. For add a user, input the username and user interface IP, and click

4. After adding the client, click OK for save the configuration

5. Download the wireguard client and import the configuration file to connect to the server.

note: if you experience that you can connect the VPN but no traffic is received, try to delete the configuration file 0.0.0.0/0 and check if it works:

The issue, if I set wireguard client on eg and would like to specified src address traffic routed via wireguard interface with PBR.
The traffic will not goes over wg.
But if I add 0.0.0.0/0 on wireguard client configuration, all traffic will goes over wg.

How do I solve this issue. It's look like the wg client config will overwrite global routing table

Dear Morning,
I use following router, the wireguard work perfectly, the only issue, I could not manage custom routing, if I setup AllowedIPs on wireguard client configuration, that effect the whole network.

Dear Morning,
I use smartphone since my PC was broken. And I currently has no access to any PC.

The point is, if I add 0.0.0.0/0 to AllowedIP on wireguard client configuration on rg-eg router. The whole network traffic will goes over wireguard interface.

I just want to route particular traffic such as url filter hence PBR.

For workaround, I set url filter on rg-eg PBR menu to route match url over WAN1 of Rg-eg.

Then ui setup mikrotik router as client of ruijie router to have wireguard connection to my VPN server. And connect the LAN interface of mikrotik to back to ruijie eg WAN1 port. And route all traffic coming from ruijie-WAN1 over wireguard interface of mikrotik router.

Yes it is not ideal but if you have such as routing table, routing rules, that we could configure will be nice. I don't have to setup another router only for this purpose.

Best regards
Tenny
