Check the optical module information and optical power meter: show int tran / showint tran dia 4. Check whether the optical attenuation range is normal: show int g0/4 trans dia If RX is alarm, it indicates that the peer optical module has issue / the jumper in the middle has issue / the optical fiber has issue 5. Test the module on a normal switch of the same model to locate whether the issue isthe module or Switch 6. Self-loop test. Check whether your Switch has enabled Self-loop test protocol like RLDP: show rldp |
