Sorry, EG3250 can't support BGP. |
something new to me, what exactly is Broader Gateway Protocol? Then what are the models from Ruijie can support? Cloud managed too? |
The Wi-Fi Hero replied at 2022-7-29 04:47 Dear sir, 1.In my opinion, BGP is kind of route protocol applied to the large-scale network between ASs(Autonomous Systems), such as the ISP, citys and countries etc. Compared to IGP, BGP can carry a large number of routes and doesn't need to know the specific routes of the peer. For another example, routers in China do not need to know the routes of the internal networks in Japan and Europe, but only need to know where the border is and whether the border is reachable. 2.RSR series routers from Ruijie can support BGP, but Cloud can't managed that for now. Best regards, Patrick |
