How to set rssi threshold on Ruijie AP? Can use the command as below to set the associate rssi and response rssi Ruijie#config ter Ruijie(config)#interface dot11radio 1/0 Ruijie(config-if-Dot11radio 1/0)#response-rssi 20 ----->access Minimum RSSI Ruijie(config-if-Dot11radio 1/0)#assoc-rssi 28 ---Minimum associated RSSI And then you can use 'show dot a a' command to check the RSSI of users. Notice: If the STA’s RSSI is lower than the certain value, AP will kick out the STA. We may use the command "debug sta-mng dump-kick-sta" to check the kick-out record. If there is a kick-out record of the STA existing already, the STA will not be kicked out in 10 mins. |

CHEN ZI WEI replied at 2023-5-5 21:07 Dear sir Associated RSSI: If the average RSSI of a STA in a period is lower than the associated RSSI, the STA will be kicked offline. Best regards Jenny |
what is the best range value of rssi? |
Rehmat ICS replied at 2023-5-11 01:36 Dear sir Normally AP deployment needs to ensure that the coverage intensity is above -75dbm. You can set the associated RSSI as 25. Note: RSSI refers to the received signal strength, ranging from 0 to 100 (the corresponding wireless user signal strength is -95 based on this, such as the associated RSSI value is 25, the corresponding wireless user signal strength is 25 - 95 = -70dBm). Best regards Jenny |
