RG-AP180 Etherport 2-5 stop working after some time. I need to disconnect port 1 and it works for several days, then ports 2-5 disconnects. WIFI is working properly |
Hi, Dan Green I‘m sorry that we can't provide a specific solution for you based on current information. Could you please describe the issue in more detail and help to check the following aspects: 1. When you disconnect port 1, do you mean the WAN port at the back of AP180 or the LAN1 port on the front panel? If only disconnecting the LAN1 port will make the other ports work, please confirm what device is connected to the LAN1 port. 2. When the ports 2-5 stop working, what is the issue phenomenon? Do the devices connecting to these ports get IP addresses properly? If they do not get IP addresses, please test whether they can reach the gateway address by configuring a static IP on the connected device. If they can, please ensure the DHCP snooping function is correctly configured and the WAN port on the AP should be configured as trust port. Best regards, Jayden |
