My organization's two branch offices (Site A and Site B) are connected through same ISP. Both offices have RG-EG209-GS Gateway router and connected to ISP ONU's. The ISP provides us two VLANs, one is for Internet access & another is for vlan passthrough so that both sites office CCTV can be connected to single vlan subnet. Each site has three subnets (vlans): VLAN1 (secure lan) VLAN2 (cctv lan) VLAN3 (gues lan) I want to make things simpler by reducing whole six vlans(of both sites) into three vlans only. If we can set one of the routers port as promiscuous port and using the Private VLAN and isolated vlans on other port we can pass other vlans to another gateway router using ISP's provided single vlan id. Is such type of configuration is supported on RG-EG209-GS Gateway router? If so than how can we configure it? Thanks |
Dear rabins_sky, I‘m sorry to tell that RG-EG209-GS does not support Private VLAN. |
