Edited by erwin weah at 2024-6-4 08:24 My ISP modem (192.168.100.1) doesn't allow to change the Subnet mask, it must be 255.255.255.0, so it is possible to change the RG-EW1800GX PRO IP to 192.168.100.101, 192.168.100.102, 192.168.100.103? The reason we have to use same subnet mask because our network has shared printer and drive that using wired connection and it should be available via wired or wireless. |
Dear sir You can configure the EW wan port settings to static IP address via More> Switch to PC view> More> Basics> WAN In static ip mode, you need to enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server to save the config successfully. Best regards Jenny |
Dear sir You can also configure wired repeater mode on the EW router to make all of the devices in the same network segment. Here is the guide to configure wired repeater mode on the EW router on page 48: https://reyee.ruijie.com/en-global/resources/preview/ruijie-reyee-home-wi-fi-range-extender-web-based-configuration-guide Best regards Jenny |
