RG-WS6512: Radio TX/RX Power in dBm ??

Dear experts.
We have Access Controller RG-WS6512 on the tests, and found that all radio-related levels in "show..." commands (for example, in "show ap-config summary radio") displayed in percents. So, the questions:
  • Is it possible to switch all radio-related outputs to display in "dBm" instead of percents
  • if no - how I can understand the real radiation level on transmitters (so, how I can convert percents to dBm or milliwatts)

Also, in the ouput of "show ap-config radio 2 config <ap-name>" I see "Current Tx Power Local-dBm" parameters always shows as "zero". Could you, please, explain what this parameter means and why it always zero?

Dear sir

1.This can only limit the percentage, not dbm.
2.May i know your AP model and version ?We need to calculate the corresponding dbm based on the maximum power that the AP model can provide.

Dear Joy.

We have two models on tests:

  Product ID          : AP880-AR
  System uptime       : 13:19:35:31
  Hardware version    : 1.30
  Software version    : AP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160202)
  Patch number        : NA
  Software number     : M02295404022024

  Product ID          : AP840-I(V2)
  System uptime       : 0:1:4:3
  Hardware version    : 1.00
  Software version    : AP_RGOS 11.9(6)W3B1, Release(11160201)
  Patch number        : NA
  Software number     : M01454804022024

Also, please, look at the third question in my initial port.

Thank you!

Dear sir

Sorry for my late reply
The transmit power of AP880-AR is 20 dBm , AP840-I(V2)  2.4GHz 27dBm   5G 30dBm

for the Current Tx Power Local-dBm issue , we are still confirm this , and will update you soon

sorry for your time

Dear Joy.

Thank you for the information provided. I have several additional questions:
  • are these EIRP (approx = tx-power + antenna gain) or just tx-power?
  • what is antenna gain for both AP models?
  • the percentage for power correction need to be calculated for dBm or for milliwatts? Because I can configure percentage from 1 to 100% (allowed values), but even I configured 1% - the real power in dBm decreasing just for several dBm on receiver situated in 2 meters from transmitter. So, it will be good to understand what  power level in percentage equal to power level in dBm/mWatt?
Thank you in advance

Regards,
Alexey

Hello,
For AP880-AR, plz refer to the picture below:

For AP840I, plz refer to:

and, the percentage for power correction need to be calculated for milliwatts.
