Static IP Assign

I'm using a Sophos firewall and have a question. The IP address of my Ruijie access point's login page changes periodically, which sometimes prevents me from accessing it when needed. If I assign a specific IP address to the access point in the firewall using its MAC address, will that cause any internet disruption on the Ruijie access point? Also, will this affect its existing configuration? |

Eric- replied at 2025-5-6 13:15 Yes. The IP address does not change every day but changes once every 7 days. Can I do what I said above to avoid this? |
