When checked Ruijie Categories, will be unable to connect Ruijie Guard.

Location method:

There are two possibilities lead to this problem, one is connectivity problems, the other is the port is disabled. By checking the status of feature library can be divided into two issues, if the feature library is normal, it may prove that the port may be disabled.

Connectivity:

To ensure that the default routing, gateway and DNS has been configured, and execute the ping in the CLI to test, if the vdom environment, to ensure that management vdom can successfully ping domain name.

cli：

config vdom

edit "xxx"

exec ping xxxxx.com

The port is disabled

The firewall uses the 8888 port by default with Ruijie Guard, some overseas operators will disable this port, causing this failure.

Location method:

dia debug enable

dia debug app update-1

exec update-now

Through above command can check whether can trigger updates, the other through the dia debug rating can check the update status.

The firewall currently provides 53 or 8888 ports as the update source port, which can be modified by the following:

53       Port 53 for server communication.

8888   Port 8888 for server communication.
