How offline-ssid works for ruijie AC?

Introduction of offline-ssid
When the capwap tunnel of the AP is disconnected, the AP will release an unencrypted 2.4G SSID to let wireless clients connect, when the capwap tunnel is established, this SSID need to be closed.

Applied scenarios



Configuration
Configure the default SSID of the default group to be my-group-ssid

Ruijie(config)#ap-config AP1
Ruijie(config-ap)#offline-ssid my-def-ssid
Ruijie(config-ap)#exit
Ruijie(config)#ap-group default
Ruijie(config-ap-group)#offline-ssid my-group-ssid

Verification
Check the configuration through ‘show running ’ and ‘show ap-config running’ command.

If the APs were offline from AC, the AP will broadcast the SSID 'my-group-ssid
' to let wireless clients connect.


Note:
If the AP is configured with ript, the SSID will not take effect after the tunnel is disconnected.
