Hello to Community, First of all, I'm new on Ruijie Reyee I have been using UniFi network (UCK-Gen2 controller, US-8-150W PoE switch, UDM-3P gateway, UAP-AC-Lite AP) in my home. The AP. which is UAP-AC-Lite Wi-Fi signal seems to not enough for me as I expected, Since I'm responsible on IT management in my work, I chose the RG-RAP2200(E) and configured it for office use. Everyone in the office so far has been satisfied using Reyee AP. So, I was thinking of upgrade my home network starting with Wi-Fi 6 AP and now I'm planning to choose RG-RAP2260(G)... My main question is if I replace my Unify UAP-AC-Lite with RAP2260(G), how can I setup and configure it? I know UniFi network has its own controller and GUI interface (web, smart phone app. etc.) but is it possible to add it at least as third party device? I couldn't find any document or info. about this and I would be grateful if anyone can help. Thanks in advance. |
Dear sir Sorry for the delay ,you can check this link below to configure this device https://www.ruijienetworks.com/resources/preview/77204 |
Hello I use the Reyee RAP2260E connected to Ruijie gateways. The APs connect to switch trunk ports. Within the AP configuration the SSIDs use VLANs configure on the gateways. This should be same using Unifi gear. |

Joy123 replied at 2022-12-14 08:49 I know that, after setting up Ruijie AP, Unifi Network should be configured as VLAN network to add Ruijie via Unifi Controller Network setup, so I can handle it. Thanks. |
