Max client AP

Hi,
we  installed the Ruijie access point as a wireless router in our public area indoors and outdoors,
for indoor we use
Ruijie AP840-I  (11 AP)

Rujien AP720-L  (2 AP)
for outdoor

Ruijie RAP6260(G)  (2 AP)
Ruijie RAP6262(G)  (2 AP)

All access point use the same SSID

the question is how we set up the max client if the access point is a different model with the same SSID, is this the max client for each access point or the total max clients for all AP?


we also get notifications for high device channel usage

Dear John S,

The max clients is the max client for each access point.
For AP720-L and AP840-I, the recommended number of clients is 64 (you may set it as 32 for 2.4G and 32 for 5G).
For Reyee RAP6260(G) and RAP6262(G), the recommended number of clients is 100 (16 for 2.4G and 84 for 5G), you can set this in the SON eWeb:
