Edited by User 74145 at 2023-8-12 12:40 Hello everyone. I have a problem. I can't bind a wifi client to a specific IP address. I'm going to Security -> ARP list -> find out the client I need, click on Bind, then edit the IP address to the value I need. Nothing happens. Then I turn wifi off and on on the client to reconnect. The client connects with the old address. In the ARP list, I see a duplicated record with the same MAC. One record is Type: static, another is Type: Dynamic with a wrong IP address. If I click on the Bind action on this client from the WiFi page, it is displayed as bound but I can not edit the IP address. And I can not see this binding in the ARP list. What I'm doing wrong? |
Dear sir, If you want to configure IP-MAC binding for WiFi clients so that the device can get the same IP address every time it connects to the WiFi, please use the Static IP Addresses function instead. Best regards, Jayden |
