1. Check whether the device supports Portal authentication Some RAPs do not support portal authentication. The models which support portal authentication are: RAP1260/ RAP1261/ RAP2260/ RAP2260(E)/ RAP2260(G)/ RAP2260(H)/ RAP2266/RAP6260(G)/ RAP6260(H)/ RAP6262/ RAP6262(G) 2. Check whether the cloud Portal authentication it is configured as AP authentication mode. If it is configured as AP authentication mode, please confirm whether the RAP/Reyee EG in the network supports AP Portal authentication.(Only EG3 series of Reyee EG series supports AP Portal authentication) 3. Compare the user lP address to confirm that the selected VLAN is correct. 4. Check that the configuration on the device side is correct. The following is the correct portal authentication configuration. 5. Confirm whether all users cannot pop up the authentication page normally and the authentication is successfully. lf all users cannot pop up, please check whether users can ping “portal.ruijienetworks.com”,and whether they can visit https://portal.ruijienetworks.com. "portal.ruijienetworks.com" can't ping and "https://portal.ruijienetworks.com" can't be visited indicates that the user's DNS is incorrect, or the user's network is abnormal and not reachable. The corresponding solution is that changing the user DNS to 8.8.8.8 and check whether Reyee EG can be networked normally. If not, please confirm with the operator whether the Reyee EG WAN port is configured correctly, and whether the user's network is in arrears 6. If the authentication page does not pop up successfully for only somespecific users, check whether the authentication page can be popped up by manually opening the browser or manually typing 1.1.1.1. If the authentication page still can't pop up, please check whether the browser is configured to block pop-ups or the WLAN is not enabled for automatic access. 7. Check whether the users has been added to a whitelist or blacklist. Users in the whitelist can access the networks directly without authentication, while users in the blocklist can do the authentication. Please remove users from the blacklist or whitelist. 8. If the users get following error: please revise the Portal configuration and re-save it If the above solutions can't solve your problems, please contact Ruijie TAC support for help. |
