How to configure Ruijie EG local authentication from Cloud?

Please perform the following steps:

a) Make sure the EG is online on Ruijie Cloud.

b) Create the portal template and click the “Synchronize”.

c) Choose the portal template and click “OK” to sync the portal to EG.

d) Enter the eWeb of EG, then enable the “Local Server Auth” and “Auth Integration with Cloud”.

Note:

You need to add a policy and set the IP range which need the authentication.

e) Wait 2 mins, then check the portal template have synced to the EG.

On Cloud, the status of catptive portal shows the date when last synchorized.

f) Create the voucher code on Ruijie Cloud and check all the vouchers have been synced to the EG.

g) The connected users in IP range which need the authentication will get the portal page. They can access the internet after input the correct voucher code in this page.

I would like to implement account & voucher to limit the data usage of the user, and I would like to configure the local authentication at the router/gateway.

May I know which Ruijie router/gateway model supports this feature & how does data quota measured by Ruijie?

Is it measured at the Ruijie AP or Ruijie gateway or Ruijie Cloud or Ruijie wireless controller (if available)?

Data  Quota function can only support on ruijie AP captive portal authentication. You can refer to this link: https://community.ruijienetworks.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1826&extra=page%3D1






Using Data  Quota function you can be able to limit the data usage of the user.
