I have a new printer which I was trying to install on the network. I could not get the Brother software to find the printer. I tried many things and almost went to send the printer back. I can see it connected to my SSID (GSPSTAFFNET) in the cloud (see image below) however when I tried to access it via the IP 192.168.1.35 it says that the address is unreachable. As I am about to post the printer back to return it I decided to try it directly connected to the router wifi and not via Ruiiji AP's. I connected it to an SSID I have directly coming off my router directly and the IP was immediately accessible. I need this printer on GSPSTAFFNET so can you tell how to make the IP reachable on via this SSID please. |
Hi, Carol Anderson If the printer and users are connected to the same SSID but cannot access each other, please check if you have enabled client isolation on the SSID. If so, please disable the Client Isolation. Best regards, Jayden |

Milan replied at 2024-9-25 16:00 We have a similar issue, the printer cannot print and this we noticed after the firmware upgrade on the reyee gateway, however we are connected via network cable and not ssid. The printer company said we need to roll back the firmware on the gateway or try a different router. We could not roll back the firmware, but we did try a different router and the printer works fine on the other router. Do you have any solutions to fix this printing issue? BTW: it is an HP multi function printer Many Thanks Devan |

GTAC-Jayden replied at 2024-8-5 10:26 Client isolation is not turned on. My model is Brother_DCP_L3560CDW_series. I have had to locate my printer next door where my router is located as I still cannot connect via my SSID and AP's. |
