Dear Ruijie, I have 6 APs detected offline at the cloud controller but when i check on site, they are actually broadcasting internet and online. Thus i find difficulties in detecting which one offline and which one online unless i visit the site. Kindly advise the solution for this problem. Thank You regards, BW |
Edited by GTAC-Ryan at 2024-10-8 09:26 Hello, To troubleshoot the issue that the AP cannot go online to the cloud, you will need to access their web locally. You can follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue. 1.Check the connectivity on AP byping 8.8.8.8 [strong] If ping fails, check network settings For example, whether the device has IP address, whether the switchport has allowed vlans, whether NAT has been configured on the gateway, etc. → Change the configuration so thatthe device can ping 8.8.8.8 and proceed to the next step 2. Check if the AP can reach thecloud service by ping ryrcmq.ruijienetworks.com[strong] If the device ping the domain unsuccessfully. Check if the local DNs Server is 8.8.8.8 , Change DNS server inthe Local DNS interface on the web 3. Check if the cloud service settings in the AP is correct. If the correct Cloud server is selected but the status is still disconnected, you may try changing it to another region and save. Then change it back. |
GTAC-Ryan replied at 2024-10-8 09:23 Hello, I cannot connect to the Ap locally, I try to put the ip address (last detected by controller) in my browser. I connect to the internet through the "offline" AP. is there any specific way to connect to the AP locally without resetting it? Thank you |
Suna Hotel replied at 2024-10-8 17:47 Dear customer, If your AP is Reyee model(RAP), you can local into an AP that is still online and search the SN for the device. Then you should be able to access its web by clicking the icon of the device. |

I switched to American, save, and change back to Asian, and it start to Syncing again. How about on EAP602? I cannot switch Reyee Cloud region, i didnt see the menu. I also have several Ruijie AP (AP180, AP720L) , with same problem. |
